- Support the Marketing Manager in maintaining a strong and consistent visual brand identity.
Main Duties
- Produce creative concepts and take them through to quality design and execution, across both print and digital.
- Execute projects from concept through to development, tender and production and install as appropriate, liaising with other departments as needed.
- In particular, work with internal departments to: deliver new interpretation and signage, ensuring ID signs are up to date; provide a creative lead on campaigns, added value activities and new offerings (such as education resource packs, Membership packages); provide digital content, e.g. digital illustration and animation/ motion graphics, web design, video editing as well as guiding user experience.
- Carefully manage the graphic design workflow, using clear criteria to prioritise design activities, effectively managing demands from internal stakeholders and meeting competing deadlines.
- Maintain a strong visual brand presence, and ensure all materials designed and produced are ‘on brand’.
- Work effectively with external creative agencies and partners, as required, to ensure brand guidelines are followed by both parties, working with Marketing colleagues, and following agreed 'sign off' processes.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers such as signage companies, to book in jobs, ensuring that the Society’s interests are met (e.g. value, price, quality, timing, sustainability). Key Performance Indicators
- Provision of a high-quality designed content that supports the Society’s marketing objectives. Provision of a design service for departments within the Society, meeting agreed timelines.
